Wildmen West going to Boot Camp

30 01 2013

We have a contingent of Wildmen from our Catalina Island Wildmen West group attending a Ransomed Heart Boot Camp in California next weekend. They need Aerial Cover!

John Eldredge of Ransomed Heart Ministry wrote the following, and we ask that you join us in this prayer for the men going.

Okay, as I was asking Jesus just now what our prayer focus should be for this week, he said, “a pre-emptive move; bind sabotage; advance the Kingdom before you.” We have our largest ever Boot Camp next week, and our first ever in California. Jesus is moving us to pray in advance, a pre-emptive move against the enemy, so that the Kingdom may come and with it the stunning redemption and all the glorious ripple effects that it brings. Now, the cross of Jesus Christ disarms the power of the enemy: “And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross” (Colossians 1:15). Our job is to enforce that in specific situations, which is an honor and a joy. So let us pray…

“We unite our hearts and prayers this day in the name of Jesus Christ, first, to give praise and worship and thanksgiving for all of your faithfulness to us God. We rejoice in your provision; we celebrate your goodness; we proclaim your faithfulness. Thank you Father for caring for us, and for the work at Ransomed Heart. We celebrate your goodness. We join the team now to dedicate and consecrate every aspect of this upcoming boot camp to you, Lord – all preparation and travel, all of the camp itself and the unfolding of this event. We dedicate every day and every night now of this mission to Jesus Christ our Lord. By the cross and blood of Jesus Christ we break and disarm every plan of the enemy to sabotage this event, or the team, or the men coming. We cancel all moves of the enemy against this boot camp, the men, the Ransomed Heart team by the cross and blood of Jesus Christ. We bind sabotage in every form – physical, emotional, spiritual. We proclaim the truth: “And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross” (Colossians 1:15). We enforce that now, here, in advance of this Boot Camp. We send the Kingdom of God and the glory of the cross before the team this week and next, preparing the way into and through this event in its every part. Breaking all forms of the enemy’s plan, breaking all thwarting and binding and sabotage, we proclaim the rule of Jesus Christ over the Ransomed Heart boot camp at Mt Hermon in California. This belongs to Jesus Christ, and we send the Kingdom before the team to prepare the way. Come and fill this, Jesus; open the glories of your Kingdom and pour them out over this event, the men coming, the team at Ransomed Heart; over their homes and families. We proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord over each of us, over Ransomed Heart, and over all of this upcoming event. Fill us with your Spirit Lord; keep us alert and walking with you this week. Anoint us with your joy and your strength. We stand together in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Amen.”
